Days Grazed and Days Rested Paddock Counters

Tracking your grazing management is simple in Mobble using the Days Grazed and Days Rested counters. Mobble automatically updates these counters daily based on your recorded mob movements. You can view these counters from Paddock View:

And also on each Paddock Info page:

How it works

  • The Days Grazed counter starts when you move a mob into a paddock. We recommend recording mob moves on the day they happen; however, you can backdate up to 14 days. For more information, see Backdating Mob Moves.
  • The Days Grazed counter is replaced by the Days Rested counter when all mobs are moved out of a paddock.
  • If a mob is moved out of a paddock and another mob is moved in on the same day, the Days Grazed counter will continue rising.
  • If a mob is moved into an empty paddock and then moved out again on the same day, the Days Rested counter will continue rising.
  • For new paddocks, Days Grazed or Days Rested will show as "unknown" until a mob is moved into the paddock.
  • The Days Grazed and Days Rested counters will not show on Yard paddocks.
